Great pub for some good quality food and a great pub garden. Large screens are set up in the garden playing sports and there’s sometimes live music, also a play area for children, always a great vibe. The reason for my review - the whipped goats cheese starter, wow. Every time I go I have to order this, and sometimes make a special visit specifically!

Been twice now for the Sunday dinner and the food is lovely! Really dog friendly which I love and think is brilliant for a pub that does food to not only be dog friendly (as in actually allows them inside!) but also really accepting and accommodating of dogs too. My family also had the fish and chips, burger and steak frites all loved their food and would come back again.

Me and my wife had an amazing date night! We were blown away by the portion of fish and chips, curry sauce was a hidden extra but WELL worth it. Dessert was a masterpiece, chocolate brownie with toffee ice cream was sweet and delicious, hit the spot for me. The wife had the biscoff cheese cake with ice cream/biscoff dusted over.. fair to say, I stole a few bites. Lovely warm fireplace with logs burning 🥵 jackets off for a sit down and chat. Met a brilliant, kind couple who similarly came for a date night. Recommended for sure! The one off put was towards the end as we were approaching the 2 hour mark, one staff member is a little pushy for "more drinks" and "anything else" - made it feel like a push out the door. Other than that, it's a brilliant place, worth my money any day, you won't be disappointed with the quality.

Lovely refreshed old pub. Use to go back in the day. Now caters for the modern family. Great outdoor space for kids. Beer selection was good but it would have been nice to see a local beer. Food menu the right size, not overwhelming. Great for lunch. Good service. All food we ordered was hot and tasty. Certainly will be returning.

Firstly may I say we throughly enjoyed our meal and the atmosphere was excellent throughout. Alas the service was a little bit poor, partly due to the the waiters and waitresses being swamped with customer's . The Farmer's Arms is within the area one of the better eateries definitely a cut above the rest and the pricing reflects that that status however with that comes the need for a excellent dining experience.

It was my late husband's funeral wake and everything was really lovely. There was plenty of first class food with constant topping up when needed. I was extremely impressed. Many thanks to all the lovely staff..

Uneven evening though great food and nice settings, good for kids. First, the food, all ordered from the tapas style 'small plates' section was fantastic - really good. Nice if unspectacular deserts. The staff were pleasant but our food and drinks took a long time to arrive. Usually this is not an issue, but it really stood out, dessert came a full 45 mins after ordering it. The menu seems a little confused, a Mediterranean tapas section paired with more traditional burgers & fish & chips mains, but will cover most bases.
