Whoever is the chef in spoons right now your eggs at breakfast are absolutely perfect! Runny with a proper glaze over the top so they aren’t snotty! Please continue to do them like this! They are amazing! Five stars!!

I came here on friday with my family, and the red haired waitress was so well mannered and friendly, definitely boosted the atmosphere. The food is of reasonable price and you get your money worth. The staff are all lovely and friendly people. I’d recommend this place for a good low budget meal with family.

Popped in to have a nosey at its refurbishment. More lighting near the bar but not too bright. New carpet throughout with change of seating in some areas. Great gin selection. Nice outdoor space. Manager and staff very friendly and welcoming. Really like the new look.

Very good atmosphere here, particularly outside on the rear terrace. Only two serving behind the bar on my visit, but the staff were on the ball.

Went in early on a Sunday. It was quiet. Very polite young lady on cracking a few jokes. Sat out the back enjoying the sun. Usual spoons prices. Clean bar, clean pub. 4 or 5 new style fruit machines.

It's a great Wetherspoons, packed full of original pub/hotel history. Hopefully it will remain as a Spoons indefinitely. Comfy, cosy and ... Affordable!

Hot chocolate had run out in one machine so I asked I could spoon in the hot chocolate from the working machine. " "no, you might spill it" Manager ran away. They lost £20 and future custom for sure that day

A bustling and busy pub that’s a good size. Getting served was tricky and the staff did their best to get all the people served in good time. Beer was well kept and we ordered some small food plates from the menu that were good and were great value.
