Called in for lunch with some friends on a Thursday afternoon. It was quiet which can’t be helped. Nicely decorated indoors with about 12 parking spaces in the car park beside the pub. We all had 3 courses and were impressed. I particularly enjoyed the sticky toffee pudding which came with fruit and ice cream. £22.99 for 3 courses was excellent value. Service was excellent and attentive. I’d definitely go back if in the area again.

I stayed at the hotel for one night with my family, as I grew up in Bradley village where the pub is. We were 3 paying guests arrived at 7:30pm. The poor chef was so worn out as 30 people whom were fed couldn't make 3 paying guests some dinner!!!! The kitchen stops serving at 8:15pm. NEVER in my life, and I have travelled a lot have I been told by a chef that he will not make you even a friggin sandwich. So we left and went down to The White Crow and had a lovely dinner where everyone was laughing at the fact The Crown wouldn't make your paying guest dinner.||2yrs ago we stayed there and this was the omelette that was served. The saddest breakfast I've ever seen. What a shame that the people in the village don't even go in their local as it's crap.

We visited The Crown at Worthington recently and, unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing due to the food and long waiting times. From placing our order to receiving our mains took around two hours, which is far too long, especially when dining with children. The kids’ starters arrived about 25 minutes after the adults’ starters, which made the meal feel very disjointed. When the food did arrive, there were several issues. The chicken breast on the mixed grill was very dry, and the steak portion was extremely small – it genuinely looked like one steak had been halved and shared between the two mixed grills ordered. The kids’ chicken strips were burnt and badly overcooked. The bacon chop on the mixed grill was nice, which was one of the few positives. The garlic bread that was meant to come with the adults’ spaghetti bolognese arrived late, and the king prawn starter had to be sent back as it arrived cold rather than warm. The fish pie was mainly potato and not a lot of anything else for £17. All of these issues were raised with staff at the time, and to be fair, they did acknowledge the problems and applied a 20% discount to the bill. However, this didn’t really make up for the overall experience, long waits, and poor food quality. Sadly, this visit fell well below expectations, and we left feeling frustrated rather than satisfied.

We had an amazing mid afternoon lunch here today, the steak and Merlot pie was outstanding of this world! Our daughter has the fillet steak, beautifully cooked and all meals were served with lovely sides. Staff were very friendly and the food came out in good time. We’ll definitely be back soon to try more of the menu.

Amazing food, drinks and vibe. They have weekly offers that I have no idea how they make money on, a function room and an amazing selection of beers. I had a guiness and it was the best one ive bad out of Ireland. The food was superb, my wife had the chicken pie and I had the steak and frites and it was lovely. Great vibe, country pub feel with lots of parking

Haven't been yet, but from their social media I've seen they can pull a really exceptional pint of peroni, in the clip the gentleman asked 'Can I have a pint of peroni please?' The bartender replied 'Sure'. 10 seconds later, the gentleman received a pint of peroni.
