We specifically walked there to eat and also for the amazing sunset! The food was exceptional! My wife had the chicken goujons, which were obviously not shop bought! They also swapped the fries for proper chips with no trouble. I had the chicken kebab with wraps. As you can see from photos it arrived on a dangly skewer. It was delicious. The sunset wasn't bad either!

Had a very nice family meal here. Reasonably priced and good service. The outside area needs a bit of tlc. We had a very nice time

We found this little gem by chance this afternoon and popped in for a family lunch. The staff were so warm and friendly and could not do more for you. Our son loved the play area and made the most of the sun whilst we waited for lunch. We ordered a mixture of things - a sirloin steak, vegan steak burger and vegan nuggets basket meal for our son. Everything was flawless. The portions were gigantic (and I should add that’s the only reason the plates were not cleared!) and extremely good value for money. My husband commented that the vegan steak burger is the nicest burger he has ever had. Add to this there was a phenomenal collection of beer and cider bottled and on tap. The atmosphere was brilliant and though we were having an early lunch, the garden was soon filling up. Really delightful find. We had to head off quite quickly so I didn’t get a chance to thank management personally for such a great visit so thought I’d do the next best thing and leave a much deserved 5* review instead. Looking forward to coming back!

Absolutely stunning setting and very friendly staff. We were there on Sunday, so had the roast. The Roast dinner was nice, but honestly nothing special. I enjoyed it but not sure it was worth £24.00. I had 2 small, hardly roasted spuds and a small amount of chicken. Location saved the day!!

We went for a tapas meal with wine...utterly gorgeous meal. We saw some other diners ordered fish and chips, the portions were very generous. The service was efficient and friendly so the meal felt very relaxed. Would we go back? Yes tomorrow night.

Although on their website it didn't say that there was a set Sunday menu ( I fancied something off the normal menu) I opted for a roast lamb! Totally didn't disappoint and made up for not being able to have what I wanted 🤣 Great atmosphere, staff really friendly, food and drink- definitely no complaints from us. Better still, dog friendly! Will visit again when we are back in the area.

We visited this lovely pub while on a day trip to Whitstable. The pub has a decently sized car park and a lovely large beer garden. The fact that the pub is dog friendly is also great. We sat in the garden with our pooch and ordered some food. The staff were really friendly and the food was really nice. We both had scampi and chips and the scampi was really fresh and tasty. The prices were fair and the pub had a lovely atmosphere, we would definitely recommend if you are in the area.
