Very friendly village pub, Craig and the team have done a fantastic job in breathing life back into this fantastic old building in recent years and you can always be certain of a warm welcome and a great range of beers. Currently serving Thai food, outside is a smallish but lovely beer garden with dining pods if the weathers not so great, also has a pool table and a fantastic log fire in the colder months!

Sadly, a very disappointing lunch/afternoon. We were a group of 10 adults and 2 children, after ordering we waited over an hour and a half for our food, despite us having reserved the table. No explanation was given for the delay, nor any snacks given to help with the wait. The food was good when it eventually arrived but that was little compensation for the long delay. We wouldn't go there again and I can only recommend it for anyone with the patience of a Saint.

Since this pub was taken over by Sam and Craig, the atmosphere has changed for the better. Always friendly service by the staff with good food and a great selection of beers. Good WiFi all the sports shown. Really can’t fault this place. Happy days!

Excellent customer service. Lovely owners and staff Felt confident how they were handling the 2 meter social distancing and rule of 6 Loved how we got the amazing top notch fish and chips from outside brought in to eat. Fantastic experience, wil definately be back

Very friendly staff and excellent sirloin steak served with garlic mushrooms (you can have them plain if you prefer), tomato, chips and side garnish. Steak was cooked perfectly and of excellent quality.
