On Monday 3rd November 16 of us went to the wheatsheaf at lunch time. We had a 3 course meal, 2 games of bingo and there was a male singer on who was great. We all had a fantastic time, everyone commented that there meals were really nice. The service was excellent nothing was too much trouble for them, our meals all came out together so I have to say a massive well done to the kitchen staff. We have all booked to go again in December. Well done to all the staff that was on you all worked so hard and made it a fab afternoon for us all, can't wait for the next one.

This is a lovely pub we have used for many years. Extremely friendly and helpful staff and great food at very reasonable prices. It's quite a big pu so even if you don't book you will probably get a table. It's especially nice at this time of year as it is always nice and warm. It also has the best Christmas decorations inside and outside of any of the pubs we use. A great pub worth a try. Alan Whitehouse.

Been tonight as a large group all the food came out together. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had meals off the festive menu which was all lovely. We really enjoyed it thank you 👍🏻😊

Lovely food, great service and had a good chat with Tammy, one of the waitresses. Quick ordering time for food, drinks were great too. Clean, tidy and well presented. Enjoyable experience and have to give Tammy a big shout out - it's people like that who make your evening! Thank you!

We come here most weeks and always have a fantastic time! The staff are all lovely and the service and food are excellent. We had a joint birthday meal for me and my grandad and had a wonderful time, 23 people at the table and the service was amazing! Cannot thank the staff enough for helping make the evening so perfect. 😊

16 of us went for lunch, menu choices sent before the day. Staff lovely, food all came out hot and not much wait for any of us. I enjoyed my steak and ale pie with mash and peas, nice pub food 👍🏻 would go again.

The food was amazing and not to long to wait for the food come to the table. The staff are lovely and nice to talk to and they have all different types of beer & cider to chose from. I would definitely come again
