Went for Sunday lunch today full of flavour was definitely full afterwards. Service is spot on staff very friendly. Clean and well presented. Our big rottweiler just laid out on the floor fresh water is available for dogs as you walk in which is a lovely touch. Would be great to have a doggie menu

All would be fine, if it wasn’t for rude and dismissive waiter and apple I have been served with the roast dinner 🤢. Luckily I haven’t eaten it all. Not even an apology even though we waited over an hour for food because my son ordered a child soup portion starter 🙄. Aside of that beautiful setting.. but won’t be coming back to dine there.

Beautiful setting and a cosy pub interior, but sadly the food let the experience down. Several of our dishes arrived lukewarm and I had to go up to the bar to get my pizza remade because it was stone cold on arrival. For £17, the “stone-baked” pizza was essentially just a garlic flatbread with sparse toppings sprinkled on top. Overall the food felt hugely overpriced for Wetherspoons-level quality, and the staff weren’t particularly friendly either. A lovely place for drinks, but I wouldn’t return for the food which is a shame.

We stay in cockington village and call in to the Drum Inn for a drink after a long dog walk. The staff are always friendly and get to know their regulars. They are dog friendly and have a drinking area outside for dogs as well as a doggy station inside with treats, water and blankets.

Friday my husband and I got married at Cockington Court and we hired the dining room at The Drum Inn for around 40 people. We can’t tell you how happy we are with the staff here. They did just an amazing job catering for such a large party. Everyone loved the food. We brought our own decorations which was placed out beautifully for us when we arrived. Thank you again for everyone at The Drum Inn for helping make our day so special. We would definitely recommend to anyone getting married in Cockington to look at having their reception here.

We had a fabulous Sunday roast here on 21st Feb. The staff were delightful, really friendly & the food was some of the best we’ve had for a pub roast lunch. There were 7 of us and we all agreed it was great. We’ll definitely return next time we’re in the area. Lovely walks from the door too around the village or into the country park estate.

Like the Lidl/Aldi ad where they served the food and asked the guests to pay what they thought it was worth and then told them it was all from Aldi, or was it Lidl? Chips weren’t freshly cooked. Vegan burger was good. Nice place, pleasant staff, lovely location but food wasn’t good. Forgot to take photos of mains, apologies
