Cory was our service and he was fantastic, friendly, and attentive. There is about enough street parking for the amount of seating inside. Decor is fun and whimsical. Would definitely recommend as an experience. Shrimp and (spicy) grits were tasty, would be amazing if they were spicy cheese grits (maybe next time). Biscuit was butter and fluffy. Pancakes were fluffy and thick. Food is good enough that I would bring people here for the experience, but probably not good enough that I'd want to fight for parking for myself.

Crazy good food, super busy restaurant, plan ahead. Aretha Frankenstein is a Chattanooga treasure but, plan to head there early or the wait to get a table could be long. We got seated with little wait on the large covered front porch but people who came shortly after us were asked to wait 45 minutes to 1.5 hours. Our server was attentive and was there to make suggestions and take care of us our entire visit. The pancakes are like nothing I’ve ever had in the United States they are a must have. They are huge just fyi. We had plenty of leftovers that we sent home with our college student to enjoy. Go visit Aretha Frankenstein just got early!!!

While compared to breakfast spots around the nation, the prices are definitely about 20% inflated, it isn't that far out of line for the quality of product received. Our service was exceptional, the seating outside was beautiful for a fresh spring day, and the food was *maybe* National Breakfast Award worthy. Give it a try, especially if you're here from the Midwest, you'll love this place.

The absolute best pancakes! In my opinion you can easily be satisfied with one of their large, thick, perfect pancakes! Today, collectively we had pancakes, bacon, and one bacon egg and cheese biscuit. Everything was heavenly. We did not have to wait on a table and the service was quick.

5 Stars – Funky, Fun, and Delicious! We went to Aretha Frankenstein’s for breakfast after our Airbnb host, a Chattanooga native, recommended it — and wow, what a spot! The vibe is electric (literally and figuratively!) with funky, eclectic decor everywhere you look. You could spend hours just taking it all in. The food was absolutely fantastic — hearty, flavorful, and fun. The service was just as great — super friendly and made us feel right at home. You can tell this place has a lot of heart and great vibes. If you’re looking for a breakfast that’s way more memorable than your standard diner stop, don’t miss Aretha Frankenstein’s. It’s a whole experience, not just a meal. We loved it, and want to come back for lunch next time we visit Chattanooga.

My friend and I went to the Chattanooga location on cinco de mayo and had an amazing breakfast! We were seated right away, the staff were kind and attentive! Even complemented the lady who I found out made the addictive blueberry topping! Yum!! All kinds of cool decor to look at! Cute patio area for outdoor dining! Had a hot earl grey tea (they even had honey, big win) and the short stack w the blueberry topping! Delish! Would highly recommend

Definitely a hole in the wall restaurant! Breakfast was really good either then my overcooked eggs, I asked for over medium and definitely got over well . so I didn't eat them. NO PARKING whatsoever. Has more seating outside then inside. 38$$ for 2 people and we didn't even get charged a drink .

It had been quite a while since since I dined at this restaurant, as I don't get to the Northshore very often. I remembered the fabulous breakfast I previously had, so I decided to bring my Date here. We came at lunchtime. I had an amazing Omelet with Swiss Cheese, Bacon, Onions & Spinach. My Date had the Polish Sausage, Peppers & Mozzarella Cheese Sandwich. Our meals were delicious & prepared perfectly. Our wonderful server was Alexa. She was very polite, professional & just a Sweetheart. She took care of our every need. Thank you Alexa!
