Meal out with my family to celebrate my birthday. Recommended by friends and wasnt disappointed! Had the steak pie and it's the best I've had in a long time! Staff were lovely. Reasonably priced. Highly recommend.

We recently booked a table at Abbots Mitre for a large group Sunday lunch, and we were all so impressed from start to finish. The warm welcome on arrival set the tone for a fantastic experience. One of the reasons we chose this pub was the variety on the menu, not everyone in our group enjoys a traditional roast, and Abbots Mitre offered something for everyone. Between us, we ordered a range of dishes, from classic roast beef to hearty pies and tasty fishcakes. Every single person commented on how delicious their meal was. The service was outstanding throughout. The staff were attentive, friendly, and made the whole experience so smooth. We especially appreciated that, at the end of the meal, they allowed each of us to go up to the bar and pay for our own food and drinks. It completely removed the usual awkwardness of splitting a large bill. Overall, it was a wonderful Sunday lunch. Great food, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere, we’ll definitely be back!

We stopped here for lunch on a cold and wet Friday, and are very glad we did. We had the set menu which was great value at £19.95 for two courses and £24.95 for three. The food was superb, definitely one the best pub meals I've had in a long time. My wife had the sticky toffee pudding for dessert which was not only delicious but huge. I also had a couple of pints of real ale from a good selection of local cask ales. We look forward to returning.

Chilbolton is a beautiful and very quintessential English village within the test Valley in Hampshire and it is graced by the presence of this wonderful pub and restaurant serving fabulous home-cooked and locally sourced meals of the highest quality. Go and treat yourself. Families and four legged friends welcome.

In recent months we have visited for drinks and food and every occasion the service and food has been consistently great. The staff are very helpful and clearly understand the menu and what meals can be provided gluten free. The pub may be a little off the main road for some but compared to other well known pubs in the area it is well worth the extra few minutes to get to the Abbots Mitre.

Great service by the girls at the bar. Ordered and paid within a few minutes, food arrived 10mins later if that. On a hot day the drinks were ice cold and refreshing. Food was delicious and hot both myself and my son wolfed it down. Staff came out to check on us and brought me a drink to my table which was a nice touch. Would definitely visit again and highly recommend to families, groups and couples with pets.

Myself and my husband went for Sunday lunch. Welcoming and friendly. Staff were polite and we didn't wait long for drinks or our food. I had the pork belly roast and it was probably the best roast iv had. It wasn't to fatty, just the right amount of everything. It was delicious. I also went on to have the warm chocolate brownie and salted caramel ice-cream.... Again, I really enjoyed It. We can't wait to come back for more.

Nice selection of starters, mains and desserts. Had the roast carvery which was delicious, sea bass was very popular and also delicious. Roughly 35 to 40 pounds per person for three courses and drinks. We all agreed it was good value at our table of ten.
