An Exceptional Stay – A hidden Gem of hospitality. A last minute booking for a last minute trip to Scarborough and was not disappointed. Arrived for a fleeting trip and left feeling completely relaxed. From the moment we arrived, the service was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The food was nothing short of delicious—crafted with care and bursting with flavour—paired beautifully with expertly made, gorgeous cocktails. The decor throughout strikes the perfect balance between charm and sophistication, while every element, from the crisp, luxurious bed linens to the thoughtfully curated mini bar (even down to the neatly folded toilet roll), reflected an impeccable attention to detail. Clean, comfortable, and effortlessly stylish, this pub offers a truly elevated experience. A one-night stay felt like a treat for the senses—highly recommended for anyone seeking comfort, quality, and exceptional hospitality in a setting that feels both refined and inviting. Thank you, we will be back!

Really wish this was a better score but solely reviewing the food this has to be 3/5 Premium price but not premium quality or flavour. Big plus points for being dog friendly, staff fantastic, however food let's it down. If my meal was £20 I would be singing praises but for the money we expected more.

We stayed 1 night in bedroom 2 and it was so lovely, really comfortable bed with beautiful linen. The staff in the pub were all lovely, we had a few drinks and a bite to eating the bar. It was a a Saturday night so very busy and quite loud but we slept well in the room. The village that the pub is in looked upmarket and well kept.

We had a delicious meal here last Saturday despite the weather the pub was packed but the food and service was spot on. We had the halibut and pie from the specials board Highly recommend this place

Lovely evening meal here. Limited menu but food was excellent, especially the baked cauliflower steak. A bit expensive for a pub, glass of wine over £9!

Lovely room. Very comfortable. Hotel is in a lovely location. Dinner was excellent, however I can't give it 5 stars because the breakfast was awful. My wife had an omelette which was dry and I had full English which had been kept warm. Sausage was solid, bacon dry, etc. Otherwise our stay was great
