I had an incredible dining experience at the Victoria Inn and truly cannot recommend it highly enough. I visited on two separate evenings and was thoroughly impressed both times. The first night, I enjoyed a beautifully cooked beef fillet, tender, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. On the second evening, we returned for their Sunday roast, which was equally outstanding. Every dish was crafted with care and full of rich, satisfying flavor. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was excellent, making the entire experience even more memorable. If you’re looking for top-notch food in a welcoming setting, the Victoria Inn is a must-visit.

Just had superb Sunday roast here today. Delicious and plenty of it. Would definitely recommend. Service was excellent. Staff very friendly and helpful. A perfect location for an autumn day, very cosy!

Booked Sunday lunch here. On walking in the decor was extremely on peng. Really smart and comfortable. Sunday roast was delicious and I had the Moules Marinaire. Absolutely delicious and sizeable portions. Absolutely full and service first class. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely little pub right in the heart of Salcombe. The menu is great with plenty of tasty options, including lots of gluten free choices which is such a bonus. The beer garden out the back is gorgeous... one of the best spots in town to relax with a drink on a sunny day. They have undercover and blankets for cooler days. Staff were friendly and welcoming, and it’s very dog friendly too which made it even better. Highly recommend if you’re visiting Salcombe :)

We had an absolutely fantastic experience at The Victoria Inn in Salcombe. The atmosphere is relaxed, friendly, and everything you’d hope for from a charming coastal pub. Special shoutout to the amazing staff – Claudia, Erin, and Ewen – who went above and beyond to make our visit memorable. Claudia was incredibly warm and attentive, Erin had a great sense of humour and made sure everything ran smoothly, and Ewen’s friendly service and local knowledge really added to the experience. You can tell they all genuinely care about the guests and the pub. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in Salcombe. Highly recommend!

Such a warm welcome at the Victoria tonight. We hadn’t made a reservation and Salcombe was very busy but the staff at the Victoria couldn’t have been more friendly throughout. Nothing was too much trouble. The bar staff were very helpful and even brought our drinks over to our table so I could sit down with my Mother. Our waitress was so helpful too. Highly recommend and so unusual in Salcombe at this time of year to feel so welcomed with all the tourists to accommodate. Food delicious too. Thank you 🙏

Without doubt this is the very best pub / restaurant in Salcombe, by a country mile!! We have tried most, if not all of their competition in Town and there is no other that can hold a candle to them for; the quality of the service, the food and the value for money. All of the staff are clearly invested in what this pub is aiming to do, and that is to provide a friendly welcome along with great service and great food and drinks. And by the way, the Victoria also provides the best value on the price of their beers, wines and other drinks. There is no doubt that Salcombe is an expensive place to visit, but the Victoria's prices do not make you go 'ouch' when presented with the bill. All in all a great place to spend an afternoon or an evening. I guarantee you will not be disappointed. Thank you to all the staff at the Victoria for looking after us so well.

We hired the beer garden of the Victoria Inn for a big get togther the day after our wedding. It was absolutely perfect and we couldn't be more grateful. All staff were very helpful, kind and attentive. Food was plentiful and excellent. We were also able to have a bar just for ourselves in the beer garden and able to play our own music. It is also worth mentioning this beer garden in more detail as from the front you wouldn't know. It extends back and upwards with lots of seating both outside and undercover with amazing views of Salcombe harbour. Also has a great play area for kids that a lot of our guests found very handy. If you are thinking of having a function in Salcombe, look no further than Victoria Inn. It is superb.
