Rating is our experience of this pub/restaurant and not comparing it with other pub/restaurant. Conveniently located at the edge of Cosham by the motorway. It has a nice size car park with fairly wide spaces. There are outside tables to the front and rear gardens. They have sports on the TV as well as music and darts. Staff are very friendly and works very hard serving and clearing things up. It seems a very popular pub so it has a nice vibe. There are some nice alcove tables to the left and right of the front door which I think are great and is a great space to socialise with friends and family. The food is nice. There’s a wide selection of drinks as well as offers on alcohol and cocktails. The price is really reasonable. For that reason you have to take things into context when reviewing. We were just passing by so it was somewhere nice and clean to get something to eat. We enjoyed it. I would recommend it and we will visit again if we are in the area.

I am a part of a day centre for adults with learning disabilities and we have had our Christmas dinner here. Not only did they accommodate our many extra needs for the people we support but the staff was helpful, cheerful and happy to help with anything. Service was swift and everyone left very, very full. The food was hot and plentiful and really created a bright spot in everyone's week in comparison to our earlier Christmas dinner at the Thatched House, which was abysmal (cold food, poor service etc.). Thank you!!!!

Such a great pub, perfect for stopping in for a meal or having a good night out! The food is great and at such a reasonable price and the service is amazing, all the staff will accommodate to ur needs. Highly recommend The Portsbridge 🙂

Waiters was absolutely lovely kind and polite and when feeling Low made me feel more welcomed and loved. Food from chefs was amazing could definitely go for another and really refilling. absolutely love to go again highly recommend and the staff are lovely to chat to!!

For a very busy Wednesday kirsty and stacey smashed it with their brilliant service and smiles on their faces! Even when they had a very rude couple. Well done lexi for the fantastic food doing it all by your self your amazing!

Staff were great, very helpful and friendly. Food was simple but at those prices I would expect no more. Had a wonderful evening in the garden and had a massive hangover at work the next day. Awesome find.

Absolutely excellent customer service, amazing food it came out well cooked and beautifully presented, tasted perfect too. Am very likely to return and I will be sure to spread the word to friends and family ….. oh and not forgetting the pub garden space with the big tv which we found great for watching football
