We stumbled across this pub on Sunday after a lovely walk at around 3.30pm. I asked could they fit us in for food, 4 adults and 4 kids. They were so helpful and welcoming. They set up a table for us and the food was exceptional. Everyone really enjoyed it and the beef roast was amazing. The service was outstanding. Really pleased we came across your establishment. We had a wonderful stay at The Coach House Inn in South Luffenham. From the moment we arrived the team made us feel completely at home; there was a genuine warmth to the welcome that never felt forced, just friendly and relaxed. Nothing was too much trouble and there was a sense that they really cared that we enjoyed our time there. The food was exceptional for the price. The menu is not vast, which we actually appreciated; it is focused, with a smaller number of dishes done to a very high standard and offered at very reasonable prices. The beer was well kept too, which is always a good sign. Breakfast deserves a special mention. It was outstanding – probably the best we have ever had at any hotel – with generous portions, quality ingredients and everything cooked perfectly. And finally, a word for Belle the dog, who was an absolute delight and even took it upon herself to show us around the village of South Luffenham. A lovely place, lovely people and we would happily return.

House hunting in the area and we stopped for lunch at the Coach House Inn. We enjoyed a delicious lunch: chicken and ham pie with fresh vegetables. Gorgeous pastry! Lovely welcome from staff. Super friendly and helpful.

We just spent one night here recently. Our room was basic but the large bed very comfortable and we'd asked for a bath and it was very nice. We had a meal in the bar which was really good (Chicken & Ham pie) the young chap who served us was really attentive. Breakfast was also really good. A very good stopover.

Great location for visiting Burleigh and as we booked a year in advance great price. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The Coach is clearly a popular local pub and the bar area had a lovely atmosphere. We ate in the Coach both nights and the food was very good, well presented and reasonably priced. My one small negative was on both mornings we were woken by a loud noise that sounded like someone was drilling for oil. Only lasted a few minutes but enough to wake us.

Amazing food - Breakfast and Dinner; freshly prepared individually every morning and dinner menu provided options and was exquisitely prepared. Rooms were very comfortable, spacious for needs and flexible with bed set-up (twin v double.) New double glazing to be installed will ensure no noise impact at front of property albeit traffic was minimal.

I just loved this place. Stayed there for one night in a twin room.|Everyone friendly. Ned worked like mad all evening having to work round poor internet. Someone had stolen copper wire in the village (hard to believe). He did a brilliant job as barman.|The room was really nice. Parking no problem.|The chef is the happiest person I have ever met in the morning. Breakfast was great, no fiddly little packets of this and that, for example fresh marmalade on a little dish.|Can’t wait to go back.
