I recently took my family out for lunch and was thoroughly impressed by both the meal and the service. The staff were attentive and friendly, ensuring we were comfortable from the moment we arrived. Our meals were delicious—freshly prepared, perfectly cooked, and beautifully presented. The menu offered a great variety, catering to both adults and children, which made it easy for everyone to find something they enjoyed. The skate wing was perfectly cooked, while others enjoyed the chilli beef loaded fries and haddock risotto. Overall, I couldn’t fault the experience. It was a delightful lunch, and I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great meal and excellent service. We will definitely be returning soon!

Staying in hotel down the road so called in as we were passing. Had a good pint and cider and booked to go back later for food.|They had Cromer Crab on the menu which was a must for me. I also had halloumi fries to start. |Husband wanted whitebait but they had sold out! He had lambs liver with bacon and mash. |Both enjoyed the food and very generous helpings. |They are open at 11.30 am but food finishes by about 8 for last orders. Weekends slightly different,|They also have a couple of rooms which do bed and breakfast at reasonable price.

My partner and I lunch here about twice a year after visiting family in North Walsham. Wouldn't dream of going anywhere else! Really friendly staff serve quality food and drinks at reasonable prices, and are most attentive. Feels like a nice experience from 30 years ago! Top place to eat!

Last night we booked a table for our anniversary. Good beer, lovely staff, great food. We also had a few drinks knocked off the bill when told of the occasion. Will definitely be back, keep up the good work!

We were looking for somewhere to stop for lunch and stumbled upon The White Horse. What a fantastic find. Plenty of choice on the menu and the food did not disappoint. We even got our drinks taken off the bill for a small delay, despite us not complaining or being that bothered. All in all an excellent experience and well recommended.

Called in when out with a friend for lunch. Great menu choices plus a specials board. There really is something for everyone. Staff were so friendly. The prices we felt were reasonable for the excellent quality of the food.

Beautiful location, plenty of outdoor seating, staff incredibly friendly great with children. Food was delicious, I had the crab, my husband had the beef brisket burger which he wants to go back for! Will revisit

Recently stayed B&B. The room was clean and lovely decoration. We had an evening meal with others. There was plenty of choice on the menu and a specials board. All six of us enjoyed what we ordered. The staff were very pleasant. Lovely breakfast in the morning.
