The food was so fire, I ordered on DoorDash I ordered a chicken sandwich and some fries. The fries are REAL potatoes, big plus lol I wanted to order again the next day lol. I definitely will be ordering again and putting my friends on. I want to eat in next time. It was messy lol but in a good way so it’s not like a lunch break at work type of meal I gotta put on some Netflix and lock in with the food.

Came here for lunch. We ordered the Chicken Sandwich, New York State Special (Burger), Fries and Sweet Potato Wedges. The food was excellent. In particular I’d say get the wedges! Their “fry sauce” is also delicious. We came to grab burgers but another reviewer recommended the chicken, and I’d agree, it’s excellent! They have specials daily as well with some creative options. This day had a Nashville Hot Vegetarian sandwich, Indian Chicken Sandwich, just to name a few. They do have a full bar, and drafts and cans of beer. The selection was pretty wide. The service was phenomenal. Every staff member was friendly, courteous and checked in with us often throughout our meal. One of our party has a food allergy and the man at the register (Ryan?) was careful to note this on each item we ordered for the kitchen. It was appreciated! He was very patient and made us feel valued as customers despite it being a busy day. We were here around 3:00pm on a Saturday. There was a line of about 10 people ahead of us. It probably took 10-15 mins to order. Once we got our number the food came out very quickly. So don’t be discouraged if there is a wait, it wasn’t that bad. Overall we had a wonderful experience here and would recommend it to locals and out of towners alike looking for a comfort meal with friends or family. Seating is first come, first serve, but there were plenty of seats in front and in back outside.

The fries are better than the burgers, in my opinion. The burgers are pretty small. Outdoor seating available. Not listed on the menu, but Coke soda products are available. Gluten free buns are available. Would recommend.

Meyer’s Olde Dutch in Beacon has a great vibe—friendly staff, a solid beer selection, and a laid-back atmosphere that makes it easy to enjoy a casual meal. I’ve had some great experiences here, especially with the double burger, which was fantastic the first time I had it. That said, I’ve learned that consistency depends a lot on who’s behind the grill. When Carlos is cooking, the burger is spot-on every time—juicy, flavorful, and cooked just right. Unfortunately, that hasn’t always been the case with other cooks. I’ve noticed overcooked burgers, especially at the Poughkeepsie location, where it seems to happen more often. Despite that, the service is always friendly, and the Beacon location remains my preferred spot—especially if I know Carlos is in the kitchen. It’s worth visiting, just be mindful that your experience may vary depending on who’s cooking.

The pickle chips are amazing!! Better than any place I've had them before. My partner had a build your own burger and I had the New York State special-- both burgers were excellent. The art is fun, and the overall atmosphere is warm and inviting.

The burgers here are super delicious! The best I have ever tried. Dirty fries are very nutritious and delicious. Single Dutch burger that I had for lunch was enough for a big guy. Pretty good variety of drinks and cocktails. Try their Fall Daiquiri cocktail 🍸- it's something special (lime and pineapple juices, rum, and cinnamon syrup). They also have some good beers. Try something from the local brewery.

We hosted our Wedding Welcome Event at MOD in Beacon, and it was such a special night. The owner and staff were incredibly kind and accommodating, making sure our guests had plenty of food and drinks throughout the evening. The food was delicious, and they were great about accommodating dietary restrictions. We’d absolutely recommend MOD for anyone looking to host a casual, fun, and memorable event!
