We have visited many times and have always had a warm welcome. We have had a roast twice recently and both times they have been exceptional. A decent portion of meat, fab crackling, a good variety of well cooked veg and cauliflower cheese. Definitely the best roast we have had out and I would highly recommend.

Great service by the new Licensee who gave us quite a few samples of ciders to try, before we decided on which ones to buy. And as the for the location, perfect this time of year with the flowing River and beautiful autumn leaves, thank you for a memorable chat and your hospitality. Cheers, the Australian's 🇦🇺

Great roast with all the trimmings great portion size! Good price, friendly staff and was particularly pleasantly surprised cauliflower cheese came included. No nonsense pub in a pretty location by the river, would recommend 👌

So so so nice. Excellent cider list. All the other guests were nice and friendly. The staff were very welcoming. And their interpretation of Oktoberfest food was really good.

Lovely pub set by a river running water all around . So peaceful and beautiful. Great local cider. We will be back on our next visit.

Great pub with a fantastic atmosphere! They offered a wide selection of drinks, and although they didn’t have Sprite, the lemonade we ordered was a surprisingly close match. The location is a real highlight - right in front of the beautiful Wye River, making it a perfect spot to relax. Loved the lively vibe and the music that added to the experience. Definitely worth a visit!

The sign outside says "Real Ale and Real Food", but it could more simply say "Real Pub" for that's what it is. A throwback to the traditional alehouse, and all the better for it. Cracking ales, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and a small but excellent food offering (which also caters for veggies). One of the best pubs in the area and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it most highly. Pay then a visit as pubs such as this deserve supporting.

Beautiful! Staff were lovely, menu was straight forward with nice looking dishes. Kitchen looked clean and well organised, all signs of a good chef. The gardens are a treat and riverside seating. Dog friendly. Don’t hesitate! Rooms N/A
