Went here for a Sunday carvery and what a meal it was brilliant very well cooked and delicious. Service at the was good to. Toilets clean and plenty of seating indoors and outdoors . Lovely well laid out beer garden with a superb play area for the kids. Massive car park too. Highly recommend you book if coming for a meal.

We had a fab evening with siblings and partners. Great atmosphere. Starters and puddings were delicious, and three of our mains were good. Unfortunately my husband asked for rare steak, and it was closer to well done (he's not a complainer and said it was good steak just not done how he wanted it), and my sister and husband had very fatty meat in their pies (the manager was great however and dealt with their complaint in a very professional manner). They're doing a great job on the whole, but for the money, these basics need to be right. Hoping for 100 % next time we go.

Our first time and we were impressed! The owners have done a great job of refurbishing the pub. Good signage and lovely flowers outside. We weee greeted warmly by staff and had plenty of delicious food. The toilets were clean although there was a dodgy flush in the ladies. We will be back!

We ate this afternoon and it was fabulous. Disappointed we didn’t have cash to tip service (not accepted via card) so hope this review helps. I had the Plymstock burger topped with brisket & my husband had the the fish, chips & curry sauce.

Family and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit for lunch. The food was delicious and very well presented with a warm friendly welcome from the staff. I had the fish, chips and mushy peas. The fish was Haddock and was the best I have ever had. Thank you ,We will be returning soon.

Went for carvery here yesterday with 9 family members. One of the best carveries weve had in a very long time. Loads of choice of vegetables. Everything was piping hot and plentiful portions of meat. Will deffo be back again and can highly recommend the Plymstock Inn for friendly service. 10/10

I took my family for a carvery today and we were all really looking forward to it. Firstly I would say that the vegetables were gorgeous. Best carrots I’ve had for ages - and we all agreed on that. However, there were two things that were really disappointing. Firstly the beef was awful. It look good, nice and pink. But the two of us who had beef could hardly cut it and chewing it was a monumental effort. I lgave up and left most of mine. But the most disappointing item was the roast potatoes. I actually didn’t recognise them as roast potatoes first of all. They could have done with another hour in the oven they were so pale. It’s a shame because we were all looking forward to our roasties. Even the people on the table next to us said theirs looked anaemic. I would add that the staff were lovely - couldn’t fault them.

1st visit, won't be the last either. Fantastic food, great service that was very friendly. Lovely atmosphere too
