Booked for a family meal as new to the area and had close family visiting from Australia. Great table,amazing food, the atmosphere brilliant and the staff were really friendly and helpful with any requests made. Will definitely be returning in the near future. 5/5!!! Hoping to sneak in for Xmas Day!

Visited a few times now and everytime this place is great. The food is classic pub food but done really well. The drinks are reasonable and the inside is done nicely. The specials are changed frequently so can normally try something different. Staff are always really friendly.

Many trips here, many times dined and just drank, catered for business lunches, dining for one or with big tables. This time a lovely alfresco in glorious beer garden for a relaxed breathable summer gastronomy event Well done again guys x Repeat visitor

Craig and Adam and their team were fantastic! We have just celebrated my daughter’s “line dancing” themed party and both the management and staff along with the venue were spectacular! I can’t praise them enough. So very helpful, the food was as requested and very very good. The staff were all extremely accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. The “party room” is a fantastic addition to an already great venue and the French boules pit was the location for our line dancing tuition. Again, Adam helped out with making sure the entertainment had everything required and made the day run so very smooth. (Quick note to the Landlords, he is a credit to your establishment) in summary, whether you are planning a party or visiting for food (which is great) or just calling in for a drink, you won’t find a more welcoming and comfortable venue than the Rose and Crown. I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Rose and Crown on 3rd July 2025, and what an exceptional experience it was! From the moment I stepped through the door, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality that set the tone for the evening. The service was absolutely amazing. The staff were attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely committed to ensuring a delightful dining experience. Their friendly demeanour added a personal touch that made the meal even more enjoyable. Although I haven't specified the dishes ordered, every aspect of the culinary presentation and flavour profiles was impeccable. The chefs clearly take great pride in their craft, delivering dishes that not only please the palate but also delight the eyes. My overall experience at The Rose and Crown was nothing short of amazing. The combination of superb service, a welcoming atmosphere, and delectable cuisine makes this restaurant a standout choice. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience.

We visited here over the weekend of 1-3rd August and it is such a lovely place. All of the staff were friendly and attentative. The service was second to none. There were tasty menu options you wouldn't always see on a pub menu, along with the classics. There are a few different cask ales and a good choice of wine. Would definitely re-visit if we are ever back in the area. Will definitely recommend this place. Thanks for a great meal and drinks!

Had a lovely meal of salmon, sea bass and burger. Great desserts and ales too! The food was fresh and the staff consistently at hand for quick service. Highly recommend visiting.
