We came for a baby shower, the place was lovely. Very family friendly for my kids too. The staff was amazing and helpful. I will be returning for an evening out soon ❤️❤️

I had Sunday lunch here with my partners ladies group, we had pre booked our meals, they offer two and three course options, we opted for two courses each and shared the baked brie starter with Sourdough bread, we both chose the roast beef with extra cabbage peas on the side and we shared a cheese cake dessert. Everyone loved the food and and most of us struggled with the generous portions. We met up outside in the the garden where there are picnic benches and a covered area. We ate inside at a pair of long tables, service was polite friendly and responsive. We agreed we would go there again. The Red Lion in Sapcote is exactly what a proper pub should be — great beer, friendly locals, and a brilliant atmosphere. The pints are always perfectly kept, and the staff make everyone feel welcome. Whether it’s a quiet midweek pint or a busy weekend night, it’s always a great place to be!

Family friendly, buzzing local pub, dogs welcome, kids love bouncy castle and the food vans are great 😊

Visited on 7th May for my birthday .. and was warmly greeted by Lolly. Both young ladies who were in the restaurant were friendly and helpful. The starter of scallops, mushy peas and black pudding crumb was one of the best starters I’ve had in years!! Absolutely gorgeous. We all tucked into roast sirloin of beef .. my mum when ordering asked for hers to be a little more well done and it came out perfectly. I can highly recommend the sticky toffee pudding with a generous jug of thick custard and the triple chocolate brownie. Service wasn’t rushed and it will be a meal I’ll remember for the long time. Looking forward to visiting again thank you 😊

Delighted with new landlord/lady: they truly believe the customer really matters, and will bend over backwards to serve you. Very friendly too, with lots of experience - the Red Lion is in good hands! Beer is excellent, and a good choice available. Marstons’ prices are high end but there’s some discount schemes on for better value. Food vans seem very good and popular, and it is a delight to always see freshly made and excellent cobs behind the bar! Lots of entertainment being put on too, and lots of plans for the future. Awesome beer garden for lovely warm sunny afternoons and evenings.

We all absolutely loved our lunch on a sunny Saturday at the Red Lion! We are thinking about moving to the area and wanted to check the local pub and we were not disappointed! We felt very welcome from the start, the inside and outside is done very well, we ate outside and ordered the tapas and they were delicious! We could not resist so we also tried the desserts and they were spectacular too! We would be very happy to have the Red Lion as our new local pub for sure.
