Went for dinner tonight had the mega mixed grill. It was brilliant. A young man brought our meals out. I believe he was new but was very aware of checking back to see if everything was OK with our meals and drinks. Even offering a steak knife. I could see the other staff maintaining a clean and efficient business. Tables cleaned minutes after people left. The food was brilliant we was both happy

Have visited for a meal for 2 people over the last 2 evenings, around 730 pm without any booking and although the pub was busy there was ample room to accommodate us. The food was consistently high quality and very reasonable with a bit of discount sent to me via email. The food arrived within 10 minutes of the order and on both occasions the staff helpfully reminded us to register our cars registration for the car park. Excellent service from Molly and from all the staff, we will certainly visit again.

On the way to Wales we stopped on this gorgeous pub. They greeted us with no booking with no problem and a big smile. Good food and environment. Super polite and go the extra mile for the customers. Would be nice some offers on Fridays evening though. Definitely will come back when we're around the area.

Having diabetes asked for bottled or canned drink, none available. Placed order then a fire alarm so had to go outside after receiving part of our order. Then I received my meal burn gammon steak charcoaled absolutely disgusting. Ate a few chips and egg just because I had to eat something, we were offered a free drink because of the fire alarm effecting our meal, I asked for a latte-No Coffee. I would have refused to pay for my meal but I found the manager absolutely rude and left the building fuming. I think the real reason the fire alarm went off was on my plate…..

Tayla and Molly served my family and I and they gave excellent service, food arrived in good time and portion sizes were plenty. We had only noticed towards the end of our meal that the Chicken Tikka we had ordered was missing the mango chutney but that was neither here nor there. Atmosphere was good, tables were clean and pump taps clearly showed what was in or not.
