Quite lively for a Sunday. Met some friends for a catch up on Sunday afternoon and it was very busy. The service was good even though it was quite busy. Good group of people around, everyone just enjoying the weather on the weekend. Overall a good experience, definitely worth visiting if you are in the area.

I just wanted to say a massive thank you to Sandy and all the brilliant bar staff for helping me celebrate my 50th birthday at the pub. They made the entire night seamless. I pre-ordered alcoholic drinks for my guests, which were ready for us when we arrived. All of our tables were reserved, and the service was top-notch all evening, with drinks continuously being topped up. It was a fantastic venue with a great atmosphere. Amazing band playing live today. Live music good drinks staff are very nice. I was shocked about how strict security was on entry but nowadays it was nice and understandable

Don’t bother. If you live round here, you’ve likely made your choice. So you can disregard this review. I got searched. ID scanned. Photo taken. Bottle of water taken off me. In order to drink suboptimal beer in a suboptimal venue. Sat at a table with friends. Got moved in order for another table to sit where we were. If Carlsberg made pubs, they would withdraw from the industry or sell this place. Hell on earth. There was a live band who spent over an hour or so setting up and sound checking. Didn’t get a chance to hear them properly because I was so aggrieved at being messed about by the clowns running the place.

I am 21 and I showed the bouncer my id and he was happy, same with the bar staff. I was helping a mate who was in the live band, and at the end of the night once they took my money for drinks the manager came up to me and said me and my girlfriend was barred. We sat in a booth the entire night and enjoyed the music. The managers excuse was “it must be a fake id, u don’t look old enough” She also refused to look at my id as she was convinced it was fake. They might want to reconsider there management.
