The Crossways Inn is a quintessentially English pub: cosy, traditional, and welcoming, with a log fire and a lively but comfortable Saturday night atmosphere. Food took about 30 minutes to arrive, as mentioned on the menu. Ordering was split between the bar and the table, which was fine, though it took a little while for someone to come and take our order. The food was very good and reasonably priced. The burger was excellent, and the brownie was well made. It’s a very dog-friendly pub, which I didn’t mind, though it may not suit everyone. Overall, a good experience and somewhere I’d happily return to if in the area.

No idea about the hotel part, I can only comment on the beer and food. Popped in for a few beers with friends on a Saturday lunchtime. A very good choice of ales and a well worth the trip on its own 5 star steak pie for lunch. Lovely to find a standard issue pub without having to put up with TV and/or loud music. Highly recommended if you want beer, a spot of lunch and conversation with some friends.

Really good pub, friendly staff and friendly dogs. Log burner on when its cold out. Let us stay overnight in our campervan in their carpark. Serves food Tuesday to Saturday. Monday nights a pizza guy pulls up in carpark with good priced freshly made pizzas. Definitely a good spot for us as we live in our van and will stop by at least once a week for a beer and food. Also plays theme tunes from classic movies in the toilets, pretty cool.

Celebrating our mums 78th Birthday. Staff were excellent and we also needed needed wheelchair access. Nothing was to much trouble. Food was excellent and a great choice. Great selection of beers and the atmosphere was fab. This is not our first time to the Crossways and we have always had an excellent time. Would highly recommend

We stayed in their car park in our motorhome as BritStop members. Such a warm welcome by the barman. And a huge and perfectly.level car park, flanked by a gorgeous field to wake up to. Great selection of real ales as they are a Camra member too. A cute dawg called Maple also enjoys chilling by the bar. 🥰 Perfect!

A trillion thanks to all the staff at the Crossways. Your hospitality, professionalism, and going the extra mile has not gone unnoticed. I think highly of you all and can’t thank you enough for looking after myself and the family. To the google reviewers - my parents live local to Crossways but I like the B&B environment. I e been going to the Crossways for years and years. The pub and food is also worth every penny (I’m a fussy eater). I’ll be back… Gaz

We frequently eat at the Crossways as the food is such good quality. Yesterday they reached a whole new level. We both had the pork belly and it was incredible. Perfectly cooked, amazing flavours, beautifully presented. We’d cleared our plates before I thought of taking a photo. I hope it appears on the menu again soon
