Popped in for food while staying in the area. The guy behind the bar was super friendly and had a bit chat, same for the locals. We really rated Bellingham as a whole, sometimes small villages can be quite closed off to non locals but our experience was the total opposite.|Food was really nice and good portions. Had a couple of pints, played some pool. Based on this I'd definitely book to stay in the future.

We had an excellent meal here... the ambience was good, very friendly locals. The food was superb, well presented by one of the two guys, who, along with the chef were running the pub. The service was good.... all in all a very reasonable meal, and very pleasant experience. We will be back next time we are in our caravan here.

The food was absolutely fantastic.. we had garlic Mushrooms, followed by the sirloin steak and burger, massive portions. The young lady who served us tonight (9/10/25) was very friendly and tended to our every need, making tonight very memorable. We will definitely be returning, so thankyou very much.

The staff were so friendly and welcoming. We came in close to the kitchen closing and no tables available, but hey quickly sorted out one of the normal tables to eat. This was after one of the customers offered to have their after dinner drinks elsewhere to accommodate us. I had the steak and it was gorgeous. I would highly recommend visiting if you're ever passing by, I know I will!

We cycled in, great welcome from the owner (great character!), somewhere safe to put our bikes, very relaxed but lovely. Rooms newly decorated and just right for a small stay, food was incredible, great price for great quantity and quality! Crispy potato skins were excellent (taste and value!) Quite possibly our best pub stay to date! Thank you!

We had a midweek lunch. The food was very well prepared and tasted lovely. Great pub with a professional manager doing an induction whilst we there. Very professional. Worth a visit. I highly recommend.
