Went here as a large group for my grandma's 80th birthday yesterday. We all had one of the Sunday roasts and they were delicious! The gravy for the beef was truly perfect and the beef was lovely and pink in the middle. Some of us got desserts, the portions are extremely generous! And again, just like main meals, they were delicious! Would return and would definitely recommend

Had a Sunday lunch with my girlfriend last weekend. The food was incredible but the stand out positive was the service. My partner has several food intolerances. The staff could not have been more accommodating. The chef adapted the food to suit; not removing items like other places, but making it a very nice meal. If I could give it 10 stars, I would. Well done to everyone. Also, the pub is very nice and has a lovely ambiance and atmosphere.

Our favourite place to meet up with friends for lunch. Today was no exception. Great food, service, ambience, everything! I can honestly say that not one of the 4 of us has ever had cause to complain...and we have been here many times over the past 10 years or so. Dishes eaten today: steak frites (best one outside of France, IMHO); chicken schnitzel; blade of beef; and steak and ale pie. Beautifully cooked and presented - and a lovely, smiley Glaswegian (still love the accent!) to serve it all up. Many thanks again - we will be back!!

What a lovely B&B, all rooms are beautifully decorated, in mine I had underfloor heating and a bath in my en- suite. I had a yummy evening meal that catered for my allergies and breakfast in the morning. Suchba lovely stay and I can highly recommend this place.

Only went there for a meal.....absolutely fantastic. I had the pan roasted salmon.....it was the best salmon I've had for a long time. My husband had the squid as a starter.....that was so delicious. He also gad the steak and ale pie.....made with very tender steak.....definitely worth having again. Service was excellent and made so welcome by all the staff.

The restaurant itself was spotless, including the toilets, which were clean and well-maintained. There’s plenty of outdoor seating for sunny days, and the large car park makes it super convenient.
