We had a fantastic meal at Balgonie Arms in Scotland — truly a hidden gem in a lovely and peaceful town. From the steak pie to the lentil soup, and all the way to the delicious dessert, everything we tried was absolutely delicious and clearly homemade with care. The food was full of flavor, comforting, and generously portioned — just the way it should be! The staff were friendly, quick, and attentive, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. The atmosphere in the pub/restaurant is warm and relaxed, with a beautifully kept interior that feels both welcoming and cozy. If you’re in the area, don’t miss the chance to eat here — it’s well worth a visit. We’ll definitely be back!

Nice wee pub. Had to sit in bar area with dog. Would have liked to sit outside in the great looking beer garden. Food was tasty. We had a mixture of things from steak pie, burger, fish and chips and a salad. All standard tasty pub food. Person serving was great and friendly, place was pretty busy. Was a litre disappointed with yhe salad. I expected a little more for the price, but I'm comparing it to another local pubs salad. I'd go back but would get something else.

It was very nice inside and staff friendly. However it was a beautiful sunny day but we weren't allowed into the beer garden because we had the dogs with us and they weren't allowed to walk through the eating are. That would have been ok but there was only us in the place. So for that reason I wouldn't go back. It is advertised as a dog friendly pub.

Food and service were excellent, really good value for money in a nice traditional country pub style sitting, staff are really friendly and helpful, will definitely return.
