Chianti Restaurant

Wow, what an amazing culinary experience. The food, the service and the knowledge was exceptional. Such a lovely family business, nothing was too much trouble. It was my birthday meal and they all made it so special which was much appreciated. The meal was the best Italian meal I have ever had. We will definitely divert our annual journey to Scotland to stop here for a meal again, it was so perfect... thank you so much.

Great location for a good meal after visiting the Kelpies. The service was excellent and the staff very accommodating after a long day of being a tourist. Food was so good.

Very disappointing- don’t believe these Google reviews! Not AT ALL as described on website- the menu was completely different. Service was the SLOWEST I have ever experienced. Waiters were setting up tables for tomorrow meanwhile we were waiting 45mins+ for 2 coffees. No apology or compensation for this at all. We were a group of 6 and out for the birthday boy. We told them it was his birthday and they completely forgot. Meanwhile 2 other people got birthday shots + cake. It was someone’s anniversary when we were there and they had live music. Not exactly our cup of tea but we ended up really enjoying it in the end- talked to the bloke whose anniversary it was and he was lovely. Only thing is when we booked restaurant didn’t mention this at all and we were just surprised by loud music and atmosphere that’s all. Food was really decent- nice Italian pizzas and pasta was pretty good too. Bill was £200 between us 6.

We had not been to the Chianti for a few years and we went for a long lunch with friends yesterday. The restaurant was not too busy at lunchtime and we were attended to by 2 very efficient and friendly waitresses. We ordered our food from the lunch / main menu and it all arrived in good time. I was very pleased with my selection of the Seafood Linguine, it was about the best I've had with the amount and variety of seafood in the dish. I was delicious and not too expensive. all in all a "good feed", we'll be back soon..

I’m staying in the Falkirk Travel lodge for a month whilst I work at Grangemouth , so tonight I thought I’d give Chianti Italian restaurant a try and I definitely wasn’t disappointed. The food was great and the 2 young women running front of house were very welcoming & doing a great job. Arancini was very fresh and authentic and you’ll see from the photos the beer and steak was also on point. I’d advise anyone local thinking about going , or anyone staying near by in one of hotels to get yourself booked in.

We discovered this fantastic restaurant a month or so ago. We were blown away by the quality of the truly authentic Italian food. We return to Chianti as often as we can, at least once a month or so. My mum doesn't usually eat pasta but she now orders on each visit. The seafood pasta is a favourite of my husband and I love the Parmigiana. We very highly recommend this beautiful restaurant with beautiful staff and owner.

Superb meal, at a very reasonable price. If you're staying just along the road at Premier Inn we'd definitely recommend eating here. For the same price as you'll pay at PI you'll get a really class meal with excellent service. The house wines are very decent and atmosphere is good - smart but relaxed.
