Great location in the sleepy village of Haxey.|Comfortable rooms which are clean and spacious. |We had our annual fishing weekend at a close by venue, so this was an ideal place to stay for a couple of nights.|Great Breakfast and choice of a small menu in the evenings. |Already booked for next September. |Thanks to all the lovely staff who work at the Duke.

Great place to stay if fishing in this area. Very nice rooms with good parking. Good service at meal times from Sue. Would definitely recommend this hotel/bar as the drinks available are good along with the restaurant menu. Thanks

Well, what can I say?|Visited this delightful establishment for an impromptu afternoon of drinks and a light finger buffet. The food was delicious and quite simply, wonderful . Such lovely staff for whom nothing was too much trouble. A particular mention must go to the delightful Sue and enchanting Tegan. Such wonderful ladies and a delight to be around. Thoroughly recommend a visit and would not hesitate to recommend the Duke William for your afternoon tipple or a light bite.

My husband and I chose a snack between us - The ploughman’s lunch £12.99 WOW - it was the best ploughman’s we have ever had - so fresh. |It included fresh pork pie x2 , quich x2 sausage rolls homemade x2 scotch egg x2 ( pieces - fresh homemade coleslaw- beautiful chutney salad cheese beetroot spring onions olives bread and proper butter|Pickled onion and a portion of homemade chips 👌

Received a lovely warm welcome from all the staff and the drinks were well priced and excellent quality! Sue & Caroline who run the cafe were exceptionally friendly and even brought our little dog a sausage and treats from the bar - even though their shift had finished and they were meant to be on their way home! This is a beautiful, friendly pub which we are really glad to have found on our walk from a nearby campsite. We will most definitely be back and will tell others about it - thank you so much for making us feel so welcome!

First time staying at the Duke William and have to say it was first class, friendly service, spotlessly clean,with good room facilities ect Microwave.Toaster.Fridge.kettle.coffe tea milk ,Sunday Carvery was delicious 😋very helpful and friendly staff.would definitely recommend.

Amazing all around. Beautiful staff beautiful rooms amazing service would recommend. Sue is amazing and she was my favourite very down to earth and beautiful!!! 💗💗
