I’ve just spent the last two weeks here as I was working near by. The rooms are small but have everything you need. Nice and quiet apart from the church bells ringing on every hour! Pub is nice and the food is amazing, proper home cooked chips! Service was excellent, the guys couldn’t do enough for me. A good choice if you’re in the Bourne area. Will be back in the future!

What a super friendly pub with lovely rooms. Simon and James although only having owned for a few months are doing a sterling job of keeping locals and guests happy. John the chef will keep you very well fed at the weekend and the waiting and bar staff go out of their way to assist. The locals are friendly and up for a chat and giggle. Locals hold events there which keeps that hub of the community going. Ample parking and well worth a visit. We will be back again.

This pub has just recently been taken over by a lovely family. Our room was excellent, lovely new comfortable mattress and super clean bathroom. Undoubtably the star of the new venture has to be the food, superb pub food, freshly made from locally sourced produce, new chef is great. Also the breakfast is excellent and overall our short stay was great value, highly recommend this lovely pub and the the service is outstanding. 5 stars well deserved 👍

We stayed the night the night before my fiancé's funeral. Nothing, and I mean absolutely nothing was too much trouble. The room was exceptionally clean with lovely toiletries in the bathroom. Beds were very comfortable. Instead of kicking us out, the staff offered us somewhere to sit quietly after the funeral so we didn't have to rush. The staff were extremely gentle and very considerate over the reasons why we were there. James even went to his own house to bring my 6 year old daughter some calpol as she didn't feel well. Breakfast was beautifully cooked and presented well. Such a wonderful night stay- just wish it was under nicer circumstances. Well done everyone, fantastic place to stay.

Good food and beer, friendly staff, and reasonably priced. The place has clearly had some money spent on it. If you're local, you should go - locals as good as this are like he's teeth, and should be supported and appreciated.

First and last time at this dump. Landlord rude and obnoxious, food ok but not great. Couldn’t understand why the only pub in a large village was so empty, now I can. Can’t leave a zero star review on here or I would. Avoid

We called in upon driving past last week and ordered a Sunday lunch. The staff were really friendly and the lunch was great. There was plenty to eat, the roast beef was lovely and all cooked to a high standard with good sized portions. The pudding was fantastic too. I would definitely recommend and if we lived more local, we would visit more frequently.

Stayed at The Bull 18/19th July 2025, has just been taken over by new Londlords. Absolutely lovely people, so friendly/welcoming. They have already started making improvements and have big plans for more, i stayed in room 1 which has just recently been made over, lovely room and such a peaceful location. I highly recommend a visit and stay, i will be returning. Many thanks for your hospitality and wishing you the very best on your new jouney.
