Called in on a Monday for a Carvery. Absolutely first class service from Tanya who is a credit to the pub. She was really friendly and helpful with all of our queries about the carvery. The Carvery was fresh and delicious and very good value. The pub was kept spotlessy clean air all times. We will be back soon.

The Story Book is the perfect place for children to run their energy off, at £5 per child for 90 mins is amazing! The drinks are really cheap for a soft play also! The fruit shoots are £1.25. Also the perfect place to eat afterwards as the food is cheap but gorgeous! There’s a decent amount of parking spaces too which you just put on the tablet inside either the restaurant or the wacky warehouse which registers you do you don’t get fined. My kids have loved it!

First time here and we had a very pleasant experience. We try different places occasionally and today we happened by The Story Book. We were served by accommodating staff, one by the name of Chloe, who was both friendly and helpful during our stay. Would come back again, food was reasonably priced and great quality!

We purchase a monthly soft play pass and stay for lunch each Saturday. Food is good enough for what you pay, portion sizes are great for children. Chloe served our food today and was extremely polite and professional.

I visited the wacky Warehouse today with my nephew and niece. They had a great time. The play area was clean and they enjoyed their food. A shoutout for Jack who was working in the area today. He was polite and constantly busy behind the bar, serving food, cleaning and ensuring the area was safe for the children, all with a smile on his face. He was amazing.

Excellent carvery, self serve after choosing your meats, pay prior to collecting carvery so no waiting round to pay after you’re finished. Top class service from Tanya, we will be back

Great meal tonight. They weren’t taking card payments but our waitress Demi let us know straight away. Very accommodating for fussy eaters. Food was great too. Thank the lord we had enough cash on us 😂
