We stayed with these great folk for just one night whilst visiting the area. The pub looks innocuous and understated but by golly is it a contrast when you use their facilities?! The Mexican food we had was as good as I've ever had anywhere, cooked to a high standard and with great presentation. The room, whilst basic ( I didn't want or expect any more) was immaculately clean, comfortable and served it's purpose perfectly. The inclusive breakfast tray in the room was a good option for us too and of a decent standard. In short, the owners obviously have and do work hard to run a great pub, with great food and spotless rooms. The efforts show and seem to be appreciated by the locals too. In short......excellent all round and I highly recommend them. Congrats folks. Regards Mark Hemmings. In sho

It was Saturday evening, and they had Mexican menu and live music. I ordered a plate with variety of tacos. For a relatively small price I got a huge plate of food. It was very delicious, and the atmosphere in the pub was very friendly. Nice to see when people enjoy their job. Thank you guys!

We did not stay at the Seahorse hence the star rating as cannot comment. We ordered the black pudding scotch egg and panko loaded fries…. It was hard to believe we were sitting in our local pub with the quality of these 2 dishes… we ate and ate until we couldn’t devour anymore. 100% the place for a meal 🙂 give it a visit u will not be disappointed

Just been today for Sunday lunch. Very nicely decorated room. Staff friendly and welcoming. Sunday dinner was delicious, great variety of veg too, mash, roast potatoes, turnip, roast carrots and parsnips, cabbage with Yorkshire pudding. Choice of beef, turkey, lamb or gammon. We had beef, very nice and generous portions. Looking forward to trying midweek menu too. Thank you.

We visited The Seahorse B&B Bar and Restaurant last night for the second time, and once again it didn’t disappoint. The live singer, Bernie, was a real character—entertaining us with hits from the 50s, 60s, and 70s. He brought such a fun, nostalgic vibe to the evening! Although we didn’t eat, the food looked and smelled absolutely delicious. What really stole the show, though, were the frozen cocktails. The frozen margarita? Chef’s kiss — easily my new favourite cocktail. What really sets this place apart is the warm, welcoming atmosphere. We've been to other pubs where we didn’t feel as comfortable, but here, you feel like a valued guest. If we weren’t moving onto a narrowboat in two weeks, we’d definitely be regulars. A real gem of a place!

We decided to pop a long for the quiz, bingo night as they have new management We were made very welcome by the staff member. Its a relaxed atmosphere with good booze. The owner and his wife run a great bar, restaurant between them. They serve Sunday lunch and do an authentic Mexican menu. They have bed and breakfast available and a huge free car park. The Pub is only a 15 minute walk to our new railway station or 5 a minute drive to the town center or beach.
