Fine looking residential street pub that offers a warm welcome, good beer and no fuss. Timothy Taylor’s Golden Best is a superb session ale. Biggleswade residents take note of what you have got. This is a wonderful, friendly, proper local boozer, that I couldn’t recommend more highly. New landlady, here for 6 months, is exceptionally welcoming. This is what a community pub should be.

After living in Biggleswade for 50 years this was my first visit and was pleasantly taken with the friendly staff and other drinkers. Will definitely not leave it for another 50 years to revisit.

First time back in this pub after my one-and-only visit, which was several years ago. Kate, the new landlady was really welcoming and friendly. Lovely pint of Timothy Taylor's "Landlord," which was in top-notch condition. Will be going back!!

Hadn't been there for a while but popped in recently, new tenants there and we found them very welcoming. The Wheatsheaf isn't a food pub, it focusses on the drinks side, with four real ales available when we were there. I had London Pride and found it to be very well looked after, the management clearly knows how to look after beer. It's conveniently placed for anyone walking from the residential parts to the east and north of Biggleswade, we'll pop in on the way home from the shops sometimes. It has a garden, when busy that will be useful because it's really quite small inside.

Nice petite back street local. Getting rare nowadays. Very clean and well decorated. Traditional feel. Excellent beer. Its a real locals pub, as it was our first time in there is did remind us a bit of American werewolf when we walked in. Well worth a visit if you want to see what a traditional British town pub should be like.
