Vim & Vigour

Another visit this, time to eat some favourites before the menus changed. As always the food and service was superb. Couldn’t fault any of the dishes at all. Looking forward to returning for the new menu along with the old favourites they are keeping, especially the chorizo.

My partner and I went here with a gift voucher we received for Christmas. I'd heard great things from multiple family members about the food. We were not disappointed. The food was delicious and the presentation was beautiful too. So much flavour and odd combinations that just worked. It works a little different to normal restaurants due to its small size. The staff come and get a drink order when you arrive and then once all tables are in for the sitting they will come and take your order. The chef prepares everything on the menu and the food is brought out as it's ready for those who order it. I have to say the chef and kitchen staff were on the ball as I don't recall waiting long between any dishes even if there were others in between for other tables. Would highly recommend trying this place out if you are local or looking for a great dining experience. I can see why it's hard to get booked in. Absolutely delicious. I forgot to take more pictures but I've attached one of the lamb and one of the scallops.

Well another night at Vim and Vigour for dinner with my daughter. Tasting menu was fantastic and delicious. I ate every bite and thoroughly enjoyed it. Can't rate the food and the staff enough, always welcoming and nothing too much trouble. Highly recommend and well worth a visit. x

Absolutely fantastic meal. Everything was delicious on the tasting menu and the paired wine was perfect. The pork belly was one of the best things I have ever tasted but I can't not mention the sea bass or the chorizo. Wonderful hosts too. We'll be back soon.

The food was decent, but we ordered tapas and fries in the side and were served the plates all separately, we finished each item individually and the fries still hadn’t arrived, so we ended up having to cancel them and just get the bill. The waitresses were friendly enough but dressed very casually, considering the prices I would expect better overall service. Probably wouldn’t go back

An absolutely amazing dining experience in West Lothian. Very affordable prices for such high quality food and drinks, with exceptional service from the staff. The atmosphere was so relaxed yet sociable. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful interior. Gives off lovely ambience. Food excellent and well presented. Staff are amazing and so patient and helpful. I have some food intolerances and had difficulty in finding something suitable. The waitress was helpful but discussed with the chef. He came to our table and went through the entire menu until we found dishes that he could modify. Now that is excellent service. It made a potentially stressful experience into a gourmet delight. Note however, for a tip, you will need cash, and you will want to tip. Highly recommend this restaurant. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️+
