Today is Monday May 19 2025 around 6pm. I came to the Pelham (Mountain Oaks) location. I really wish I could give more than 5 stars. The customer service, speed, food taste and most important food portions deserves more than Stars. I'm from Atlanta and in the area for work. I make it happen to have a BBQ rib dinner twice a week. I'm glad I dropped my. Blessings to the team that worked that night. Everytime I'm here I will make it my business to eat there. Great job team. Kudos and two thumbs 👍👍 up to Chris. A awesome guy. Couldn't ask for a better person to greet you, and serve you. Need more people like him working.

Stopped in to buy some BBQ for Father's Day tomorrow. The woman helped me to figure out how much to buy. It smells delicious, but we won't eat it until tomorrow. The wait for this to-go order was very short.

We ate here last night for the first time. The loaded baker, potato salad, grilled cheese sandwich and black eyed peas were all very good. The cookies were also good. The staff was very friendly and they interacted with my 4 year old daughter. My daughter likes them. The layout and decor is typical for this chain. It is close to the Oak Mountain Amphitheatre.

Update as of 3.16.24: I visited again and enjoyed our family meal. The chicken was moist and tasty. I waited on the speaker patiently for a good few minutes. As I was about to drive to the window (thinking that the speaker was broken), a lady finally answered. I drove around and she took my payment. She went to process my card and I was wondering what was taking so long. I began observing her while she began removing several tickets from an area while my food sat just waiting on her. Upon her return, she handed me my card. I was prepared to still tip but she handed me my bags and I was on my way. I began smelling something and realized that the juice from the collard greens was waisting out. I stopped and realized how a small bag was crammed with greens, Mac n Cheese, and our cookies. Our cookies were getting soaked. The juice was all on my feet rest. It was a mess! We enjoyed the food. Unfortunately, I won't use the drive thru service for quite a while. *************"*************************** Great customer service! Great food! Great location! Great atmosphere! So many great sports memorabilia on the walls to enjoy. Televisions on various walls with different sports showing and the volumes are not annoying but perfectly set. This is a great place to meetup with friends or for groups to meet at. Clean establishment. Easy access into the restaurant and in it.

Maybe we caught them on a bad night, but I would not recommend eating here. I had brisket, butter beans and mac-n-cheese. The best part of the meal was the Mac-n-cheese. The meat came smothered in bbq sauce, the brisket was tough, and the butter beans were mush. We also had ribs, chicken, fried green tomatoes and deviled eggs. The meat also came smothered in sauce and the deviled eggs taste old. This meat was not worth $50.

Went to this location for lunch. The service was great in the drive thru. The food was good. However, I do feel the ribs could have cooked a little longer on the grill. Collard greens were very seasoned. The onions were really big in them verses being cut up fine. Mac n cheese was ok. I would try them again in the future.

My first time dining at Full Moon BBQ in Hoover, and I was pleasantly surprised at the level of service but also the food was fantastic! Much better than what I expected. Great sports themed atmosphere. Staff was very friendly. The baked potato is HUGE.
