The Bull

A proper old fashioned pub the like of which have vanished in large numbers. We arrived for a lunchtime meal and drink. The portions of food were very generous and tasty - not too sure about him healthy they might be, but they did look good. Friendly service. We are looking to return for our Christmas meal.

I’ve always appreciated the role that pubs like The Bull and The Wellington play as local social hubs in Birmingham. It’s clear that running these businesses isn’t easy, especially in challenging times. I hope that staff at these pubs feel supported and valued, as a motivated and respected team is key to great service and a thriving business. Ensuring a positive working environment benefits both the employees and the community who enjoy visiting these venues. Wishing continued success to the team and the pubs, and I hope they remain vibrant parts of the local community for years to come.

A fantastic traditional pub with a good selection of cask ales. Visited pre match at West Brom as a group of Pompey fans we felt very welcome. Close to train and tram. Proper pub food provided excellent value.

We had an enjoyable stay at The Bull. The room was pretty nice while the bathroom was quite modern. But the best part was the friendly/helpful staff and the locals who visited the pub. Thanks for everything!

Always found this pub to have a great choice of well kept cask ales on sale. A well deserved perennial entry in the Good Beer Guide.

A traditional old pub, with a nice range of real ales and traditional food. If you like real ale and exploring old pubs you really should pay a visit.

2nd time here with the other half. Good range available on tap or behind the bar in bottles/ cans. Food wise I can recommend the fish and chips, chili loaded fries, onion rings and duck spring rolls. The cat is a lovely addition to a good pub experience. My other half is cat mad and the cat makes it feel homely. There is a small beer garden / smoking area, several large tables that would be good for group. Inside there are 3/4 main areas with the bar in the middle. Two long tables that would be good for large froups. Takes card and cash. Friendly staff and parking in street or in the carpark next to it.
